Get support from TechBit Solutions
To get support from TechBit Solutions, call (915) 629-8888 between 5am and 8pm Mountain, or (915) 253-9757 outside those hours, in English or Spanish. A person answers both.
Call us
The fastest way to get help from TechBit Solutions is to call (915) 629-8888. A person answers and starts on the problem while you are describing it.
Our hours are 5am to 8pm Mountain, Monday to Friday. Outside those hours the after-hours line at (915) 253-9757 reaches a person, not a recording.
There is no support form on this site. When something is broken you should be talking to somebody.
What to have ready
None of this is required, and you should call whether or not you have it. It just makes the first two minutes faster.
- Which machine or which person is affected, and whether anybody else has the same problem
- The exact wording of any error message, or a photograph of the screen
- When it started, and whether anything changed just before
- Whether there is a deadline attached, such as a shipment, a filing or a shift starting
- A number we can reach you on if the call drops
Remote support
Most problems are fixed remotely, usually while you are still on the phone. We will ask you to allow a remote session and you will see everything we do on your screen.
You can end the session at any time and we cannot connect again without you allowing it. If a problem needs somebody physically present we will tell you and give you an arrival time rather than a window.
After hours
The after-hours line is (915) 253-9757. Use it for anything that cannot wait until morning: a site down, a security incident, or a system that has to be working before a shift starts.
Anything that can wait is better handled in the morning when the full team is available.
If you are not a client yet
You can still call. If it is something quick we will usually just tell you the answer.
If it is bigger than that, the conversation is about whether TechBit Solutions is the right fit, and we will say plainly if we are not. See what switching looks like and pricing.
What we can and cannot do remotely
Most support calls end without anybody leaving the building, which is why response in minutes is worth as much as it is.
- Remote, almost always: email problems, password and account lockouts, software that will not open, files that have gone missing, machines that have slowed down, printer queues, permissions, new software installs
- Remote, usually: a server that is misbehaving, a network device that needs reconfiguring, restoring a file or a mailbox from backup
- Somebody has to come: hardware that has failed, cabling, a machine that will not power on, a new site or a move, and anything where the problem is physical
When it is the third kind we tell you on the call and give you an arrival time. We are in El Paso, so for most of the service area that is the same day.
Reporting something suspicious
If you think you have clicked something you should not have, or a message asked you to move money, or an account is behaving strangely, call straight away on either number.
Nobody at TechBit Solutions will be annoyed with you, and the first hour matters far more than the explanation. The worst outcome is somebody deciding to mention it tomorrow.
Support in Spanish
TechBit Solutions delivers support in Spanish on both numbers. Not a translation service and not a callback from somebody else.
